Mixed RF-VLC Relaying Systems for High-Speed Rail Communication
نویسندگان
چکیده
In the proposed system setup, a communication link is established between base station (BS) and end-user (UE) via relay node mounted on high-speed train (HST). The information conveyed over backhaul RF links BS VLC UE inside train. It assumed that are encountered with dual shadowing due to slow-moving vehicles pedestrians. Moreover, not able estimate channel perfectly HST mobility. Firstly, statistical characteristics, such as probability density function (PDF) cumulative distribution of BS-relay link, derived under imperfect information. Then, performance examined by deriving two key metrics, outage probability, average bit error rate. Furthermore, we investigate secrecy when eavesdropper overhears BSandrelay andthe captures relay-UE link. To this end, secure into closed form. Our results reveal setup can be adopted network architecture for existing well future networks.

Resource Allocation for Mixed RF and Hybrid RF/FSO Relaying
In this paper, we consider a mixed RF and hybrid RF/FSO system where several mobile users transmit their data over an RF link to a relay node (e.g. a small cell base station) and the relay forwards the information to a destination (e.g. a macro cell base station) over a hybrid RF/FSO backhaul link. The relay and the destination employ multiple antennas for transmission and reception over the RF...
متن کاملHigh-speed Wireline Communication Systems
This report is a literature survey on multicarrier wireline communication systems, focusing primarily on the recent enhancements to the physical layer in Discrete Multitone (DMT) Modulation systems. We investigate methods used to improve the data rate versus reach performance of DMT systems proposed in the G.992.3 Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Lines-2 (ADSL2) and G.992.5 ADSL2+ standards. We al...
متن کاملDispatch coordination between high-speed and conventional rail systems
Cross-line trains, as a link between high-speed and conventional rail networks, will increase the complexity of transport organization and lead to significant challenges in dispatch coordination between the two systems. Based on the characteristics of high-speed transport organization, this paper deals with the necessity of dispatch coordination between high-speed and conventional lines from th...
متن کاملMegacities and High Speed Rail systems : which comes first ?
A megacity is usually defined as a metropolitan area with a total population in excess of 10 million people. The number of megacities is increasing worldwide: in 1950 they were 4; in 1980 they were 28, in 2002 they were 39 and by 2015 they will be 59. In most agglomerations and megacities, urban planning and public infrastructure can guide the urban development in order to achieve a proper sust...
